This morning I offered Macy a glass of water.
Macy: Tank you, tank you Mommy! I had a dream I had a glass of water. And it came true!

Have you happysimon?
While watching American Idol tonight, we were reviewing the judges names with Macy. We told her their names were Paula, Randy and Simon.
She busts out with:
I happysimon to follow Jesus.
I happysimon to follow Jesus.
I happysimon to follow Jesus.
No turning back, no turning back.
She has been singing "happysimon" for "decided" for about the past week. They sing this song at her school in music class. It has been cracking me up and I've been meaning to blog about it.
I love when I hear about God's love and his promises at the most unexpected times through Macy. It like the Lord nudges me to use this forum to spread his Word. And Macy's words seem better than anything I could come up with. I just want to bottle up her sweet innocence and pour it over her in about 10 years.

Dancing Queens
At some point of every evening, you'll find this scene at our house. Me, all comfy in flannel bottoms and tshirt, dancing with the girls. Now, the black socks are not typical - I had worn them with my boots that day and hadn't changed them. Yes, I realize that I have quite "a look" going as husband told me. But you can bet on it, that we were having a ball!

so is Macy
During lunch today in pure Macy randomness...
Macy: When Daddy cries, I'll tell him God is love.
Me: Wow, Macy. That is really nice.
Macy: And when you cry because you miss my Papaw, I'll tell you that God is love.
I love that girl.

Flashback Friday
After watching Baby Macy movies, I scanned in a picture of her...
Macy Lynn Glover
May 24, 2004 ~ 2 days old
*I had to scan this in b/c we didn't own a digital camera until Macy was a year old. So, click on the pic to see it larger**

the child, she is so humble
Macy was singing while coloring this morning:
I am so pretty, pretty
That's what I am
That's what I am
I am so pretty, pretty
That's what I am
That's what I am

because if she hadn't, who knows where I would've put the ballie
I had picked out Macy's clothes for her to wear to school. I told her to go put everything in my room so I could iron them. This is what I found:

complete with the "ballie" (ball-e) on top

All dressed for school

inching her way along the hall as I snapped pics

**Just out of curiousity, what do you call the "ballie"? That is what my mom always called them because most of them are just round balls. This particular one is fancy...**

this is as close as we are going to get

Gregg, Paige and I are all allergic to cats.
While we were at Petsmart the other day,
Macy said: When I am a mommy, I am going to have a cat.
Me: Oh no. Then Daddy, Paigey and I won't be able to come over because we are allergic.
Macy: That's ok. I'll just put the cat up.

and this child could be mine
**Ignore the Christmas decorations- the following pictures were taken last month. I keep a running list of things I need/want to blog about. I am finally getting around to these.**
Meet Ryan, our 11 year old neighbor.

Meet Ryan, our 11 year old neighbor.

He could easily pass for a Glover spawn.
One night Ryan came over as we were about to go out to eat. So, we had him ask his mom if he could go with us. We walked into the restaurant totally looking like a family. I'm 31 so I could easily have an 11 year old. With Gregg's dark hair and all of our light eyes, he totally looks like he belonged to us. Tripped me out. Then we went onto Target to complete our big Saturday night.
These pictures were taken when Ryan came over while his mom Christmas shopped. He went with us to take Macy to dancing lessons, he stayed in the car with Paige while I took Macy in, I drug him to Michael's with me and Paige, and then we grabbed Chick-fil-a on the way home. He ate with us and played with the girls.
Ryan has also been known to bring his little friends over here to play. They all run around our backyard and inside my house. They smell like puppies and eat any food I put in front of them.
The good Lord knows what he was doing giving me daughters. But, it is fun to have Ryan around and we are blessed to have him in our lives.

early morning ha ha
This has cracked me up all day. I emailed two new bloggity friends, Lindsey and Meredith, last night. Apparently, when I email someone it shows up under husband's name since we share an email. It is really my email because he never uses it.
So, in my inbox this morning, I get:
~WOW. I'm so glad this message was from you! I saw the name Gregg Glover (which I didn't recognize) and an email titled "hello girls" and I was a little concerned. I thought I might find some pornography when I opened this message. So...you might be asking yourself why I opened it. Anyway- I'm glad I did.
~OK, so, like Lindsey, I totally thought this was some spam mail. Hello girls just sounded a little creepy. :)
Subject lines on emails bug me b/c I never think of what to put. As with my big mouth, I type (speak) alot of times w/out thinking how it comes across. That is what I hate about writing - so much can be inferred! I digress...

Ah, 1st impressions ~ you gotta love them!

L
load (noun) - a big stinky
Yesterday and today, Macy was heard using the above noun the following ways:
(from her bathroom): I'm making a load in here!
(helping her daddy): I'll put Paigey's load in a bag because it is so stinky.
(while passing the trashcan in the garage): PU! I smell Paigey's load in the trashcan.

I think I just did
As we were pulling into the neighborhood tonight...
Macy: Do you know what is white and nice?
Me: No, what?
Macy: A wish maker.
Me: I'm not sure I know what you are talking about.
Macy: 'Member those things in our neighborhood in the spring?
Me: You mean a dandelion?
Macy: Yeah, a dandelion.
....You should blog that.
Yes, she did.
I guess my little "hobby" is a household word these days.

What's gonna work?
Teamwork!
It's no secret that we all love to eat pizza over here. The other day, I made pizza dough for the first time since we've lived in this house. I used to make it almost once a week at our old house and we'd share with the neighbors. By the time you buy all of the ingredients, it really isn't any cheaper than Mr. Jim's but it is something we all enjoy doing together. When the girls are older and have friends over it'll be fun for them all to make their own pizzas. We've done that before when we've had company ~ but double oven would sure come in handy. So, we usually just make one big one and get creative with the rest of the dough.
I make the dough, Gregg rolls it out and the girls "help" (more like help themselves) with the ingredients.
