To plant!! After dinner, I put the girls in play clothes (b/c they were both in full-fledged dress-up) and their rubber boots and out they went to "help". This was Paige's 1st spring to help out and she loved it!
Gregg came home with enough flowers to do the flowerbeds along our sidewalk. He'll tackle the huge flowerbed another day. He figured out it is cheaper to buy hanging baskets to plant rather than tons of little bedding plants. He can be thrifty like that. Compensates for me being not so thrifty at Target 3x's a week... Our marriage is nothing if not balanced.
Macy decided that the french toast I made her for dinner wasn't sufficient so she puts some tacos and mashed potatoes on the grill. And then set the table for everyone.
These are not children of mine. Bull if I have ever put my hands in dirt like that.

...But, we won't even mention the fact that he came home from work on Easter afternoon (because in retail you likely work Easter Sunday, even if you are the boss) with two sets of Dora shovels, rakes and gloves. Because the children needed a part of the Nickelodeon franchise to go with all of the Disney Princess marketing ploys that the Easter bunny succumbed to.
